At Grant Thornton Sint Maarten, we offer you the opportunity further grow our Business Process Solutions (BPS) department. Join our team as Junior Manager BPS, where your expertise will help drive success for both our clients and our firm.

What does your work look like?

As Junior Manager BPS you will support clients in improving their financial reporting and gaining insights. You’ll ensure they are kept informed about key accounting, financial, and regulatory developments while maintaining the highest professional standards.

What are the role’s main responsibilities, and what will it involve?

  • Oversee a range of compilation engagements across industries, ensuring high quality and compliance in financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing solution-focused service to enhance satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in networking activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure that client assignments are executed within budget, while maintaining quality, progress, and profitability.
  • Share knowledge actively with team members, providing guidance and mentorship to support collective growth and performance.

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Business Economics.
  • Preferably an AA qualification, or willing to obtain it.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the Dutch Caribbean.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills including proficiency in accounting standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • A self-motivated, ambitious approach with dedication to teamwork and collaboration.
