We are looking for a Manager Payroll to head our payroll department. In this role, you will lead a small team of payroll consultants and provide expert advice on wage tax and social security matters.
What does your work look like?
As Manager Payroll, you will oversee payroll administration for clients, manage team performance, and ensure high-quality service delivery. You will engage with clients regularly to anticipate their needs, resolve complex issues, and provide value-added payroll solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, wage tax, and social security laws.
- Provide expert advice on complex payroll-related matters.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple clients.
- Maintain quality control and monitor project budgets.
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for growth.
- Assists clients during wage audits and expatriate requests/calculations.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enable growth and improve our departmental overall expertise.

Your profile:
- A Bachelor or master's degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience; knowledge of Caribbean payroll and Celery is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and accuracy skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and commitment to building trusted relationships.
