About the role

As a Senior Assistant Tax Compliance, you contribute to the delivery of high‑quality tax compliance services for a diverse client portfolio. You apply solid technical knowledge and a structured working style to independently handle tax filings, while supporting engagement leaders in providing accurate, client‑focused solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and independently handling complex tax returns across a broad range of taxes, including profit tax and turnover tax.
  • Drafting objections, requests, and correspondence with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Reviewing and determining fiscal positions in financial statements where required.
  • Performing smaller advisory tasks and supporting engagement leaders in addressing compliance‑related questions.
  • Maintaining professional contact with clients and tax authorities.
  • Staying up to date with tax legislation and compliance standards to ensure advice and filings remain current.

Your profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance
  • Familiarity with Dutch Caribbean tax legislation is a plus
  • Strong numerical insight and a structured, methodical approach to work
  • Able to communicate effectively within a team and with clients
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
  • Strong command of the Dutch and English language
