Meet Marvin

Marvin is a Director of Grant Thornton Sint Maarten with 18 years of assurance experience. He specializes in financial statement audits of clients belonging to telecommunications, banking, real estate and construction, hospitality, and tourism industries.

Marvin joined GT St. Maarten in 2016.

He is proudest of effectively leading multi-cultural and diverse teams. He has strong command of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), Internal controls over financial reporting under the United States’ Sarbanes-Oxley Act (for US-listed entities and affiliated companies), and Dutch GAAP.

Marvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of the Philippines and is Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since November 2004.
